Course, competition and logistics
The 5K is one loop out-and-back along the shore, with a U-turn at the 5K U-Turn sign. The 10K is two loops of the same out-and-back course. Wheelchair participants are welcome, though several tight 180-degree turns may make the course less suitable for wheelchair racers. The 10K has a cutoff of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Hydration is provided at the finish. Informal bag check is available in the staging area; bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from the start and finish. Refreshments are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Street parking is limited on Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Road; public transportation is encouraged. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee if requested in advance. Age-group recognition is provided for top finishers overall and in multiple age brackets.
