The Nostalgic 90s 5K & 5 Mile

The Nostalgic 90s is a run and walk event held in Forest Park in Woodhaven, Queens. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and two measured distances.

The course is certified and uses out-and-back loops: the 5K includes a short initial out-and-back followed by a single loop, and the 5 Mile follows the loop twice. Age group recognition is awarded to top finishers overall and across multiple age categories for female, male, and X non-binary divisions.

Event amenities listed include a nostalgic event tee and a finisher medal, finish-line hydration, refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water, restroom facilities a short walk from the start and finish, and an informal bag check area. A bib mailing option is available for an additional fee when requested in advance.

Registration options include in-person and virtual entries. Registration fees are non refundable and terms require participants to agree to event terms and waivers. A portion of proceeds and 100 percent of donations support the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501 c 3 organization that funds youth and special needs events and other athletic initiatives. Virtual participants can submit times and upload photos during the event posting period and may receive mailed items before or during the event.
