NSRF The Nostalgic 90's 5K & 5 Mile
The event takes place on July 12, 2026 at Forest Park in Woodhaven, Queens, New York. It features both in-person and virtual participation options and offers a nostalgic event tee and a finisher medal for participants.
Distances
- 5K - Out and back; includes a 0.3 mile segment plus one out and back loop.
- 5 Mile - Two out and back loops covering five miles.
The courses are laid out as out-and-back routes and a certified course is available. Age-group recognition is awarded to top finishers overall and across standard age brackets including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
On-site amenities include informal bag check, restrooms within a few minutes' walk, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by event partners. Virtual participants have a one-week window beginning on the event start date to log results and may receive mailed items; bib mailing is available for a fee if registered at least 10 days before the event.
A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation and donations are collected to support its programs. Event results, same-day finish-line photos, and additional race information are published online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
