Strawberry Fest 5K and 5M
The event takes place in Forest Park, Queens, on Munsee Lenape and Canarsie lands. It offers road race options through a rolling, scenic park course and includes in-person and virtual participation.

Course details: the 5K uses an out and back route with an initial 0.3 mile section followed by one out and back loop. The 5 Mile follows two out and back loops. The course is certified. Participants on multi loop distances must cross the finish mats on each loop for accurate split times and synchronized finish-line photos.
On-course and event amenities include an informal bag check area, restrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, hydration available at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. A commemorative medal and event tee are produced for participants. A free kiddie fun run is listed as part of the event.
Virtual option: competitors may log a time within the event window and upload up to five photos. Race items for virtual participants begin shipping the first day of the event; virtual bibs are mailed in advance with an expected 3 to 5 day delivery window.
Age group recognition: no awards are issued but online standings will be posted and sent by text or email across multiple age categories. Donations support the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
