NSRF Strawberry Fest 5K & 5M Forest Park
This event stages road races in Forest Park, Queens, with options for a 5K and a 5 Miler on a rolling, scenic course. The event offers a free kiddie fun run and a virtual option that allows participants to record a time and upload up to five photos within the event week; virtual entries receive mailed items beginning the event period.

The course layout is out-and-back based: the 5K includes a short initial out-and-back segment followed by a single out-and-back loop, while the 5 Miler uses two out-and-back loops. The course is certified. Non-5K participants must pass through finish-line timing mats on each loop for accurate splits and photos.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby restrooms within a few minutes walk, finish-line hydration, and postrace refreshments provided by event sponsors. Participants receive a medal and tee. Bibs can be mailed for a fee if registered in advance, or picked up in person on race day; bibs should be worn mid-torso and visible for accurate timing reads.
