NSRF Presents The Rainbow Run 5K
The event is a community 5K run/walk presented by the Never Stop Running Foundation at Eisenhower Park Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. The event supports PFY, a division of the Long Island Crisis Center, and donations and a portion of proceeds benefit that organization. Post-race refreshments are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Participation options include in-person and virtual 5K entries. Virtual participants have about one week to submit a recorded time and may upload up to five photos. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee when requested in advance. A free kiddie fun run is held before the main event.
Amenities listed for participants include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and free finish line photos. A certified course map is published for the route through Merrick Lands / Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY. Awards are given to top finishers overall and in age-group categories for female, male, and X non-binary classifications.
