NSRF Hip Hop Half Marathon & 5K at American Veterans Memorial Pier, Brooklyn
The event takes place on July 25, 2026 at American Veterans Memorial Pier in Brooklyn, NY. It offers in-person and virtual race options with a music theme and on-course refreshments provided by event partners.
Distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles), four loop course
- 5K, out and back along the shore
- Free Kiddie Dash
- Virtual 5K and Virtual Half Marathon
The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute course cutoff and electrolytes are provided for half marathon participants. Pacers are available to guide half marathon runners. Finishers receive a boombox finisher medal and a tee. Hydration is available at the turnaround and finish area. An informal bag check area will be located in the staging area. Bathroom facilities include nearby building restrooms and porto-johns at the site.
Parking is available on Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Road; public transportation options serve the pier area. Bib mailing is offered for a fee and requires registration at least ten days before the race. Age group recognition awards are presented to top finishers across multiple age categories and gender identity divisions.
