NSRF Hip Hop Half Marathon & 5K
The NSRF Hip Hop Half Marathon & 5K takes place on July 25, 2026 at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Brooklyn, NY 11209. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a free Kiddie Dash.
Distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles), four loops; 3 hour 15 minute cutoff; electrolytes available.
- 5K, out and back along the shore.
- Virtual options, 5K and Half Marathon; participants may log times online.
Amenities include a boombox finisher medal and tee, pacers for the half marathon, informal bag check, on-site bathrooms within a few minutes walk, and hydration at the turnaround and finish. High quality refreshments are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
The course note states wheelchair participants are welcome but several tight 180 degree turns may make the course less suitable for some wheelchair racers. In-person bib pickup is available near the finish line and bib mailing is offered for a fee if registered at least ten days before the race.
Public street parking is available on Bay Ridge Avenue or Shore Road. Age group recognition is awarded for overall top finishers and across multiple age brackets from 14 & under through 90 plus.
