NSRF Frosty 5K & Icy 5 Mile - Forest Park, Queens
The event is the second stop of the NYC Parks Winter Series held at Forest Park in Queens, New York. It offers two race options and a free kiddie dash that takes place before the main races. Race items include a FROST-TEE and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.

Course details: the 5K is an out-and-back route with an initial 0.3 mile segment then one out-and-back loop. The 5 Miler is an out-and-back course completed twice. The course is certified.
Participant services and logistics: informal bag check is available but organizers do not assume responsibility for belongings. Bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from start and finish. Hydration is provided at the finish line. Street and metered parking are available; attendees are advised to allow ample time to find parking and walk to the site.
Bib and virtual options: participants can have a bib mailed for a fee if registered in advance; in-person bib pickup is available from event staff. Virtual participants have a window of one week to log time and may upload up to five photos. Bibs for virtual entrants are mailed when race gear is available; allow several days for delivery.
Awards and proceeds: online age-group recognition is given to top finishers overall and across listed age brackets. Proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
