Day of the Dead 5K & Half Marathon
The Never Stop Running Foundation presents the Day of the Dead 5K & Half Marathon on October 25, 2026 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and a free kiddie dash held near the common finish area. Registration includes options for a mailed bib for an additional fee and notes that registration fees are non-refundable.

- Half Marathon (four loops of the 5K course; cutoff 3:15 hours)
- Free Kiddie Dash near the common finish line
The 5K course is USATF certified and routes runners past the Unisphere twice and around the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish near the Queens Theater. Half marathon runners must pass through the finish mats each loop for accurate timing. Hydration is provided at the finish line and on the half marathon course; refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from start and finish and portable toilets are located near the finish area.
Participants receive a Day of the Dead shirt and a finisher medal. Pacers are available, and runners vote for a best costume. Donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable initiatives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
