4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run NSRF
The event is a trail 5K run and walk held at Bethpage State Park with a free Kiddie Clover Fun Run. The course begins on a grassy polo field and continues on winding soft trails through Massapequas Lands and Old Bethpage, featuring a few small hills and mostly flat terrain with a cross country feel.
Finishers earn a good luck clover shirt. Post race refreshments are provided, including items from All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water, and beer is available for participants 21 and over with ID. Hydration is available at the finish line. Bathrooms are a short walk from the start and finish. An informal bag check area is provided but the organizer does not assume responsibility for belongings.
A virtual entry option is available. Virtual participants have a window to log their time and upload up to five photos, and race items are mailed to registrants. Bibs can be picked up in person on race day or mailed for a $10 fee if registration is completed at least ten days in advance; guidance is provided on proper bib placement for accurate results.
Online age group recognition is awarded for top finishers overall and within standard age divisions. Proceeds support the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable events and athlete development.
