4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run NSRF
The event is a trail 5K run and walk held at Bethpage State Park at the Polo at the Park area, with parking at the Bethpage State Park playground. A free Kiddie Clover Fun Run is offered for young participants.
The course begins on a grassy open polo field and continues onto winding soft trails through Bethpage State Park. The terrain is mostly flat with a few small hills and a cross country feel. Participants can earn a good luck clover shirt.
Amenities include an informal bag check area, portable bathrooms within a few minutes walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and post race refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants aged 21 and over may receive beer in the post race refreshment area and must present ID.
There is a virtual option that allows participants to log a time and upload photos during the event window; shipped items begin on the first day of the event. Bib options include in person pickup starting one hour before the event or mailing for $10 if registered at least ten days in advance. Results include online recognition for top finishers overall and in multiple age group categories. Proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation.
