Event overview
The 4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run/Walk takes place on March 8, 2026 at Bethpage State Park - Polo at the Park in Old Bethpage, NY. The event includes an in-person trail 5K, a free kiddie Clover fun run, and a virtual 5K option that runs from the event start date for one week. Participants receive a themed clover shirt. Course, logistics and amenities
The course starts on the grassy polo field and continues onto winding soft trails in Bethpage State Park. The route features mostly flat terrain with a few small hills and a cross-country style feel. Parking is at the Bethpage State Park Playground; participants are advised to drive down Picnic Polo Road and pass the toll booth to reach the parking lot.
Onsite amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and post-race refreshments provided by event partners. Participants aged 21 and over may receive beer in the post-race area and must show ID. Age-group recognition is offered across multiple male, female, and X/non-binary categories.
