Norway Spring Classic 2026
Norway Spring Classic is a community running event on April 25, 2026 in Norway, Michigan. The event is based at Norway Vulcan Area Schools, Middle School Gym, 300 Section Street, Norway, MI 49870. Proceeds benefit the Norway High School Scholarship Fund.
The event offers these distances:
- 2 Mile Walk
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
Race day registration and packet pickup, plus the award ceremony, are held in the middle school gym. Online registration includes a $5 discount. A family discount of $5 applies when registering three or more household members. A $10 discount is available for participants who decline a t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed if registration is completed at least two weeks before the race; afterward shirts are first come first served.
Course details are provided for each distance. The 2-mile route is paved through a neighborhood and includes a short segment of Lake Drive. The 5K is mostly on paved roads with about 0.5 mile on Lake Road and includes two notable hills. The 10K includes 5.7 miles of blacktop, 0.5 miles of gravel, six hills, mile markers, and a water station at the three mile mark. Restrooms and showers are available in the school. Chip timing is used and finish receipts can be picked up in the gym.
Additional notes: no dogs except service animals; strollers allowed on the 2-mile and 5K but not on the 10K; 10K finish must be within two hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
