Norway Spring Classic 2026
The Norway Spring Classic is a community running event in Norway, Michigan, centered at Norway Vulcan Area Schools (Middle School Gym), 300 Section Street, Norway, MI 49870. The event program includes three distances:
- 2 Mile Walk - paved neighborhood route; includes a short part of Lake Drive.
- 5K Run - mostly paved, includes 0.5 mile on Lake Road and contains two hills.
- 10K Run - 5.7 miles of blacktop, 0.5 miles of gravel, six hills; water available at the 3-mile mark.
Packet pickup, race-day registration, and the award ceremony are held in the middle school gym. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrants who sign up at least two weeks before the race; afterwards shirts are available first come first serve. Online registration discounts, a family discount for three or more household members, and a no-t-shirt discount are offered. Race day registration costs more than online and accepts cash and checks only.
The event uses chip timing with bib chips; official times and receipts are available after the race. Awards include medals for top three finishers in each age group and special awards for top overall finishers; 2-mile finishers receive a treat. Facilities include restrooms and showers inside the school. Parking is available near the school and on neighboring streets. Proceeds benefit the Norway High School Scholarship Fund.
