Riggs CAT Quarry Jingle Rocks 5k
Riggs CAT Quarry Jingle Rocks 5k takes place at the Martin Marietta Jones Mill Quarry in Malvern, Arkansas on December 12, 2026. The course runs along the top side of a working limestone quarry; the quarry will not be operational on race day. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine.
The event program includes a chip timed 5K and an untimed Family Fun Run, plus a spectator registration option. Registration for the main race events opens May 1, 2026 and closes December 12, 2026. Regular registration is $40 per person, day of registration is $50 per person, spectator registration is $20, and children under five are free.
Prize money is offered for the top three male and female finishers: $300 for first place, $150 for second, and $75 for third. Timing is conducted with disposable chip tags and live results will be provided. Bibs must be worn on the front of the body and remain visible. Course markings, cones, and officials will indicate the required route and no deviation is permitted.
Registration includes a soft cotton blend race shirt, a custom race bib for chipped participants, a finisher medal for timed participants, a custom first place award for qualifying winners, and a provided stone for rock painting. Post race activities include face tattoos for children, a raffle, a jar of stone counting competition, vendor booths, and photo opportunities on heavy machinery.
