Riggs CAT Quarry Jingle Rocks 5k
The Riggs CAT Quarry Jingle Rocks 5k takes place at Martin Marietta Jones Mill Quarry in Malvern, Arkansas on 12/12/2026. This is the event's inaugural year and the course runs along the top side of a working limestone quarry; the quarry will not be operational on race day. The event is held rain or shine.
There are two event options:
- 5 km - timed 5K
- Family Fun Run - untimed
The timed 5K uses professional chip timing with disposable bib tags attached to the back of race bibs. Bibs must be worn on the front of the body and be visible. Results are provided by Garner Racing and are available live online. No bicycles or pets are allowed due to restricted spacing.
Prizes are offered for overall male and female finishers: 1st place $300 each, 2nd place $150 each, and 3rd place $75 each. Registration fees are listed as regular $40 per person, day of $50, and spectator registration $20. Children under age 5 attend free.
Registration includes a soft cotton/poly race t-shirt, a custom race bib for chipped participants, a finisher medal for timed participants, a custom first place award where applicable, and a provided stone for rock painting. Post race activities include temporary kids face tattoos, a raffle, a jar of stone counting contest, vendor booths, and photo opportunities on heavy machinery.
