Northumberland Turkey Trot, hosted by the Cobourg YMCA in Cobourg, Ontario, offers multiple distances: 2.5K and 5K runs/walks, plus Wing Ding 1K Kids Fun Run and Gobble Wobble for under-4s, with a Gobbler 5K/2.5K option. The course starts at the YMCA and travels through the Cobourg Conservation Area, featuring an urban green-space setting with grassy sections, uneven ground, and small rolling hills. The event emphasizes family-friendly fun and turkey-spirit, with finisher medals for the 2.5K/5K and kids medals for Wing Ding; a Golden Drumstick spirit award and festive costumes are encouraged.
