Event details
Run Northumberland Hexham 10k takes place on 19 July 2026 in Hexham. The race distance is 10K on a largely flat, road surface course. The course starts on the outskirts of Hexham, runs on closed roads towards Corbridge and returns along the largely flat Corchester Lane. The event is traffic free with full road closures. Minimum entry age is 15. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport.
Logistics and prizes
Registration and Race HQ are at Tyne Green, Hexham. Race-day facilities include bag drop and toilets at Race HQ, parking at Wentworth Car Park (disc parking) and a water station at 5 km. Distance markers are provided every kilometre. Entry is limited to 500 places and entries close on 15 July 2026. Affiliated entry fee is £23.00 and unaffiliated entry fee is £25.00. The event will include refreshments, street food, entertainment and music on Tyne Green.
Finishers receive a medal. Individual prizes are awarded to the top three men and top three women. Veteran age-group prizes are awarded from Men 40+ and Women 35+ (subject to minimum numbers).
