Run Northumberland Hexham 10k
Run Northumberland Hexham 10k takes place on Sunday 18 July 2027 around Hexham. The event is a 10K road race on largely flat, traffic-free roads with full road closures and a road surface profile described as flat.
The course begins on the outskirts of Hexham, runs on closed roads toward Corbridge, and returns via the largely flat Corchester Lane. Registration and the finish are both located on Tyne Green. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. The minimum age for entry is 15.
Entries are limited to 500 and close on 17 July 2027. There are two entry fee categories: affiliated and unaffiliated. The event notes entries on the day.
Race facilities are centred at Race HQ on Tyne Green and include bag drop, toilets and changing facilities. Parking is available at Wentworth Car Park using disc parking. A water station is provided at 5 km and distance markers appear every kilometre. First aid is available and refreshments, street food, entertainment and music are provided on Tyne Green.
Prizes include a finisher medal, individual prizes for the top three men and women, veteran prizes for first in each age group (M40+ and L35+) subject to a minimum of five entries in the age group, and team prizes for first male and female teams when runners wear their club vest as required.
