Run Northumberland Hexham 10k takes place on 19 July 2026 in Hexham. The race distance is 10K on a largely flat, road surface with full road closures. The course starts on the outskirts of Hexham, follows closed roads towards Corbridge, and returns using the largely flat Corchester Lane. Registration and the finish are on Tyne Green. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. Minimum age to enter is 15.
Logistics, entries and prizes
Entry is limited to 500 places and closes on 15 July 2026. Entry fees are £24 for affiliated runners and £26 for unaffiliated runners. Race headquarters, registration and facilities are at Tyne Green (registration address Tyne Green Rd, Hexham NE46 3HQ) and the finish area is listed as Tyne Mills Ind Estate. On-site provisions include bag drop, toilets, changing facilities, first aid, distance markers every kilometre, a water station at 5 km, and refreshments at Race HQ. Parking is available at Wentworth Car Park (disc parking).
Prizes include a finisher medal, individual prizes for the top three men and women, veteran age-group prizes (men 40+ and women 35+ with minimum entry conditions), and first male and female team prizes subject to club vest rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
