Northland 5K for Food Allergy
The Northland 5K for Food Allergy returns to Duluth, Minnesota, for its fourth annual event. Based at Endion Station in Canal Park, the event features a course that utilizes the local Lakewalk. The route is an out and back layout that heads northeast toward Beacon Pointe before returning to the start. The Lakewalk remains open to the general public during the event.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run
The 5 km event is chip-timed, and awards are presented to the top male and female finishers. The Kids Fun Run is open to participants aged 2 to 12 and takes place on the same morning as the main race.
On-site amenities include allergy-conscious food and beverages, lawn games, and various children's activities. Information regarding allergy-aware businesses and products is also available. Following the races, an awards ceremony includes a door prize drawing where participants can enter their bib numbers for various items. Several paid parking lots are located near the venue in Canal Park, including options on North Lake Avenue and near Canal Park Drive. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
