CSM John S. Werner Memorial 5k Run-Walk
The CSM John S. Werner Memorial 5k Run-Walk is a 5 km run-walk held at The Other Place Bar and Grill parking lot, 3930 E. Calvary Road, Duluth, MN 55803. Registration opens January 6, 2026 and closes June 12, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00.
The event begins with a short ceremony commemorating the memorial's namesake. The race is chip timed by Duluth Timing and Events. Parking is available courtesy of Voyageur Bus Company in a lot located across the street and to the west of The Other Place Bar and Grill.
Awards are presented to the top three males and top three females in these age groups: 16 and under, 17-30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61 plus. The event information describes an effort to honor the individual for whom the memorial is named and to recognize area service members through this commemorative run-walk.
