About the race
Northern Beaches Triathlon Series Race 5 is part of the 2026/2027 club series hosted by Warringah Triathlon Club at Scenic Drive, Manly in the Sydney Harbour National Park area known as North Head. The venue is described as offering minimal traffic and flat, fast bike and run courses with scenic harbour views. The club stages both triathlon and duathlon formats and publishes electronic timing and full race results by segment.
The event provides timing chips, course marshals, raffle prizes and refreshments as included services. A free barbecue is provided for competitors, volunteers and supporters at each club event. Transition closes before race start and participants should allow about 30 minutes to walk from transition to the swim start at Collins Beach. There is no race day registration; entries close at midnight on the Saturday prior to each race.
Race formats and distances include:
- Triathlon Enticer: 375 m swim, 2 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Triathlon Sprint: 750 m swim, 2 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
- Duathlon Enticer: 2.5 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Duathlon Sprint: 2.5 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
