About the race
Northern Beaches Triathlon Series Race 4 is organised by Warringah Triathlon Club at Scenic Drive, Manly, within North Head and the Sydney Harbour National Park. The event uses the North Head venue with flat, fast bike and run courses and coastal views.
The club offers both triathlon and duathlon formats with two distance options:
- Triathlon Enticer: 375 m swim, 2 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Triathlon Sprint: 750 m swim, 2 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
- Duathlon Enticer: 2.5 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Duathlon Sprint: 2.5 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
Races are electronically timed with full segment results published. The club provides timing chips, course marshals, raffle prizes, refreshments and a post‑race barbecue for competitors, volunteers and supporters. Podium prizes, a series handicap award and lucky-draw prizes are part of the events. Juniors under 14 on race day may only enter the Enticer. Entry fees vary by age and AusTriathlon membership status; AusTriathlon Standard and Premium members receive discounts, and athletes over 60 receive a 50% discount. Series entry requires a minimum of four races and is open to Adult Standard or Premium AusTriathlon members. Registration closes at midnight on the Saturday before each race.
