About the race
Northern Beaches Triathlon Series Race 4 is part of the 2026/2027 club race series hosted by Warringah Triathlon Club at Scenic Drive, Manly, within the North Head area of Sydney Harbour National Park. The event includes club-format triathlons and duathlons on courses described as flat and fast, with swim, bike and run segments for Enticer and Sprint distances.
Race formats and segment distances:
- Triathlon Enticer: 375 m swim, 2 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Triathlon Sprint: 750 m swim, 2 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
- Duathlon Enticer: 2.5 km run, 12 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Duathlon Sprint: 2.5 km run, 21 km cycle, 5 km run
The club provides electronic timing chips, course marshals, published segment results, raffle prizes, and refreshments included in the race fee. Podium prizes, a series handicap award, and regular lucky-draw prizes are offered; club members can be eligible for entry to the club championships via draws. A free barbecue is provided for competitors, volunteers and supporters at each event.
Entry costs vary by age and AusTriathlon membership status; examples include free entry for some junior Standard AT members and discounted adult series entry for Standard or Premium AT members. Registration closes at midnight the Saturday before each race and there is no race-day registration. Series entry requires a minimum of four races and is open to adult Standard or Premium AusTriathlon members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
