Northern Beaches Triathlon Series : Race 2 (2026/2027 season)
This club race, organised by Warringah Triathlon Club, takes place at North Head in Sydney Harbour National Park, with the event location listed as Scenic Drive, Manly NSW. The course layout includes swim, bike and run legs for triathlons and run-bike-run for duathlons, with specific race formats and distances as listed below.
- Triathlon Enticer: 375 m swim, 2 km run, 12 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Triathlon Sprint: 750 m swim, 2 km run, 21 km bike, 5 km run
- Duathlon Enticer: 2.5 km run, 12 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Duathlon Sprint: 2.5 km run, 21 km bike, 5 km run
The club provides timing chips, course marshals, refreshments, raffle prizes and a free barbecue for competitors, volunteers and supporters. Races are electronically timed and full segment results are published. Podium prizes and a series handicap award are offered, and members may be eligible for additional prize draws including entry to the club championships.
Entry rules note that juniors under 14 on race day may only enter the Enticer, athletes under 16 are classed as juniors, and athletes over 60 receive a 50% race discount. Series entry is available to adult Standard or Premium Australia Triathlon members with a minimum of four races; the Women’s Only Triathlon is excluded from series entry. There is no race day registration and registration closes at midnight the Saturday prior to each race. Transition is located uphill from the race start and it takes about 30 minutes to walk down to Collins Beach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
