Northern Beaches Triathlon Series

Event overview

The Northern Beaches Triathlon Series - Women's Only Triathlon takes place on 22 March 2026 at Scenic Drive, Manly NSW. The event is hosted by Warringah Triathlon Club and sponsored by SquareOne Physio. Races are held at North Head in the Sydney Harbour National Park. The organiser describes the course as flat with minimal traffic and scenic views. The club provides timing chips, course marshals, raffle prizes and refreshments as part of the race fee. A free barbecue is provided for competitors, volunteers and supporters at every event. There is no race day registration; registration closes at midnight the Saturday before the race. Transition closes at 5.50am on race day and the walk from transition to the race start at Collins Beach takes about 30 minutes.

Race formats, age rules and fees

Triathlon distances:

• Triathlon Enticer: 375 m swim, 2 km run, 12 km bike, 2.5 km run
• Triathlon Sprint: 750 m swim, 2 km run, 21 km bike, 5 km run

Duathlon distances:

• Duathlon Enticer: 2.5 km run, 12 km bike, 2.5 km run
• Duathlon Sprint: 2.5 km run, 21 km bike, 5 km run

Juniors under 14 on race day may only enter the Enticer. Athletes under 16 on race day are classed as juniors. Athletes over 60 on race day receive a 50% discount. Series entry is open to adult Standard or Premium AusTriathlon members and requires a minimum of six races (excluding the Women's Only Triathlon).

Selected entry fees: junior non-member $15; junior AusTriathlon social/basic $10; adult Standard or Premium member $55; adult social/basic member $65; adult non-member $70. Team entries: Enticer $70, Sprint $90. Series entry for adult Standard or Premium members is $250 (under 60) and $125 (over 60). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
