About the race
The Northeast Delta Dental Boston Prep road races take place in Derry, New Hampshire on January 24, 2027. Both races start and finish at West Running Brook Middle School and follow back roads through East Derry with gentle rolling hills.

The 16 mile event includes timing splits at 13.1 miles and at the finish, mile markers at every mile, water and Gatorade stops at miles 3, 6, 9, and 12, and a gel at mile 12. The course may be closed after three hours; a Sunshine Start registration option is available for participants who need additional time. Awards go to the first three overall male and female finishers and age group awards are given three deep in the groups Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
The 5 mile event has mile markers at every mile and a water/Gatorade stop at approximately 3 miles. Awards go to the first three overall male and female finishers and age group awards follow the same age group categories.
Registration opens October 4, 2026 and closes January 24, 2027. Early fees apply for registrations completed by December 31, 2026; race day registration is available if the race is not sold out. No refunds are offered. The event provides professional timing, tech shirts for the first 325 registered runners, and post-race food plus a post-race gathering at Rockingham Brewery.
