Northants 5K Series – Race 2 at West Lodge Farm
This event is a multi-terrain 5 kilometre race through parks, fields and nature trails around West Lodge Farm in Desborough, Northamptonshire. The course passes through wooded areas and farm surroundings where participants may spot some of the farm residents. The race is part of the Northants 5K Series and is scheduled for Wednesday 13 May 2026. Entries close on Tuesday 12 May.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal; each race in the series features a different medal. A virtual completion option is available so signed-up entrants who cannot attend in person may receive the medal by post. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before race day.
Entry fees are listed as £15.00 or £17.00 with a £1.50 non-refundable booking fee. The lower fee applies to runners affiliated to UKA. Race packs for the whole series and individual race numbers are collected on race day at Event HQ in the picnic area (wooden undercover structure). Car parking at West Lodge Park is free. Minimum age is 11; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant.
A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Toilet facilities are available. The farm cafe will be open before the event and there will be barbecue food after the race; participants are advised to provide their own race refreshments.
