North Peoria Turkey Trot
The North Peoria Turkey Trot is the fourth annual community running event presented by Walk Forward Coaching. It takes place at Paloma Park in Peoria, Arizona on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday November 26, 2026. The event offers timed and untimed options and includes participant shirts and swag while supplies last.

- 1 Mile (not timed)
The 5K course contains an out and back portion on a gravel trail. Participant shirts are provided to those registered by November 1; later registrations receive shirts while supplies last. Swag bags are distributed while supplies last. Packet pickup occurs the day before at Paloma Park and on-site on race morning. The event proceeds are donated to extracurricular programs that provide confidence building opportunities for teens. Local churches are also coordinating contributions to meet additional teen needs, and new packaged teen underwear is collected at swag pickup for local youth.
Awards are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place 5K finishers across age divisions from 9 and under through 90 and over. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
