Mike Groves 10k
The Mike Groves 10k takes place on 8 March 2026 at Wroxham Barns, UK. The race starts and finishes on the Wroxham Barns site and is run on local roads in a single lap that goes through and to the north-east of Ashmanhaugh village. The course is fully marshalled and signed, with a road closure in place for the start. Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing and results will be posted online and on social media. Times will count towards personal bests and official rankings.
Course, rules and awards
The race begins on grass for the first 175 m, then continues on a short length of graded gravel before joining paved countryside lanes. A water station is located at marshal point 6, just over halfway. Runners are asked to self-seed by estimated finish time. Minimum age is 15 years. Medals are available to all finishers. The first three men and women are determined by gun time; all age categories use chip time. Trophies are awarded for various age and team categories on the day. Headphones are not permitted, and dogs, buggies, and wheelchairs are not allowed.
Facilities and entry details
Race HQ is within the start zone at Wroxham Barns. Car parking is available on site but capacity is limited. Male and female toilets are available in the start zone and the WB Courtyard. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available for purchase. Registration and race number collection take place in the start zone at the Jaguars themed gazebo. Race numbers are compulsory and entrants should write name, medical conditions, and an emergency contact on the back. There is no bag drop. A children’s fun run is held on the WB site; entry on the day is free with a suggested charity donation. Prices listed are £20 (affiliated) and £22 (unaffiliated).
