Mike Groves 10k - Wroxham Barns
The Mike Groves 10 km is held at Wroxham Barns and uses a single lap on local roads. The course runs to the north-east of Ashmanhaugh village on paved countryside lanes and undulates gently. The first 175 metres are on grass, followed by a short length of graded gravel; this section can be narrow and runners should follow marshal instructions.
A children’s fun run takes place on the Wroxham Barns site before the main race. The fun run is free on the day and finishers receive a keepsake; a donation to charity is appreciated. The fun run course remains inside the venue.
Car parking is available at the Wroxham Barns site but capacity is limited. Race HQ and registration are located in the start zone at a Jaguars themed gazebo where children’s entries can also be made. There is no bag drop; parking is adjacent to the start zone. Male and female toilets are available in the start zone and in the WB Courtyard. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available for purchase and a Sportlink stall offers last-minute gear.
The event is part of the SPORTLINK GP Series. Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing and results will be posted online and on social media. A water station is located at marshal point 6, just over halfway. Minimum age is 15 years. Medals are available for all finishers. Headphones, dogs, buggies, and wheelchairs are not permitted.
