Event Overview
The Mike Groves 10k is a road running event that starts and finishes at the Wroxham Barns site. The course consists of a single lap on paved countryside lanes that undulates gently through and to the north-east of Ashmanhaugh village. A road closure is in place for the start of the race to ensure participant safety.

Course Details
The race begins with the first 175 meters on grass, followed by a short section of graded gravel before moving onto local roads. The route is fully marshalled and signed. A water station is located just past the halfway mark at marshal point six; participants are encouraged to bring their own refillable bottles. The event uses chip timing, and results contribute to official rankings and personal bests.
Facilities and Regulations
Race headquarters is located within the start zone at Wroxham Barns. Facilities include male and female toilets in the start zone and courtyard, as well as a stall for gear purchases. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available for purchase on-site. Parking is available at the venue, though capacity is limited.
The minimum age for the 10 km distance is 15 years. Headphones, including bone conduction types, are not permitted. Dogs, buggies, and wheelchairs are also restricted from the course. Medals are provided to all finishers, and trophies are awarded for various age and team categories.
Children's Fun Run
A fun run for younger children takes place prior to the main event. This course is entirely contained within the Wroxham Barns site. All participants in the fun run receive a keepsake. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
