North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
The North Lanarkshire event takes place on 23 August 2026 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. RUN NL and North Lanarkshire Council present a programme of timed races with course routing through Motherwell and the surrounding areas. The half marathon and 5K are officially chip timed with start and finish points based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.
Entry for the half marathon includes fruit, water, cereal bars, a race T-shirt and a finisher medal. All participants who complete the listed events receive a finisher medal. Free massage therapy sessions will be available for warm up and warm down.
The day features a range of on-site activities and services including bouncy castles, trampolines, face painting zones, Come & Try sports development classes, music and entertainment, plus food, refreshment and merchandise stalls.
Distances and age categories:
- Half Marathon - age 16 plus, entry fee £39.99
- 5K - age 12 plus, entry fee £14.99
- 1K - age 7 plus, entry fee £7.49
- 400 metres - age 6 plus, entry fee £5.49
- Toddler Dash - pre school ages 3 to 5, entry fee £5.49
