North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
RUN NL and North Lanarkshire Council present the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon sponsored by Albert Bartlett. The event takes place on 23rd August 2026 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility and features a route through Motherwell and surrounding areas. The half marathon and 5K are officially chip timed, with start and finish at Ravenscraig.
The event offers multiple distances:
- Half Marathon for ages 16 years and over
- 5K for ages 12 years and over
- 1K for ages 7 years and over
- 400 metres for ages 6 years and over
- Toddler Dash for preschool age 3 to 5 years
Entry fees include fruit, water, cereal bars, hydration gels, a race T shirt and a finisher medal. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in the following categories: 11-13 years male and female, 14-15 years male and female, and 16 years and over male and female. All participants who complete their event receive a unique finishers medal.
The day also includes bouncy castles, trampolines, face painting, a range of Come and Try sports development classes, music, entertainment, food and refreshment stalls, and merchandise vendors.
