North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
The North Lanarkshire Half Marathon event takes place on 23rd August 2026 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility and is organised by North Lanarkshire Council. The event is sponsored by Albert Bartlett and is hosted by RUN NL.
Events on the day include:
- Half Marathon for participants aged 16 years and older.
- 5K open to ages 12 years and older, chip timed.
- 1K for ages 7 years and older.
- 400 metres for ages 6 years and older.
- Toddler Dash for pre school ages 3 to 5 years.
The half marathon and the 5K are officially chip timed with start and finish points based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. Entry includes fruit, water, cereal bars, a race T shirt and a finisher medal. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place finishers in the 1K, 400 metres and Toddler Dash categories.
The programme also includes bouncy castles, trampolines, face painting zones and a variety of Come and Try sports development classes. Music and entertainment will accompany food, refreshment and merchandise stalls. Massage therapy sessions will be available to participants for warm up and warm down at no charge.
