16th Annual North Idaho Turkey Trot
The North Idaho Turkey Trot takes place at Riverstone Park, 1805 W Tilford Lane, Coeur d'Alene, ID on November 26, 2026. The event is non-timed and awards are not given. It is presented as a community activity for families and is pet friendly. Event shirts are available with registration if the participant registers by the shirt deadline. Hot cider and cookies are provided after the finish.
The event offers multiple course options:
- 1 Mile around Riverstone Park; walkers, strollers, pets allowed.
- 5K on the North Idaho Centennial Trail; easy course, keep right, walkers yield.
- 10K on the North Idaho Centennial Trail; easy course with a couple little hills.
Sponsorship and purpose: Idaho Central Credit Union and Dog N It Hotel and Daycare sponsor the event. The event is facilitated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds from the 2026 Turkey Trot will benefit RescueLove and support its work to save dogs from high-kill shelters and help local dogs in need of homes.
Registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable; registration fees are considered donations if the registrant cannot participate. Stated registration fees for each distance are $10 for the 1 Mile, $25 for the 5K, and $30 for the 10K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
