North-End Nightmare 5K/10K
The North-End Nightmare 5K/10K is scheduled for October 31, 2026 in Brockville, Ontario. The event is based at the Soccer Clubhouse on Laurier Blvd and offers two distances.
Distances:
- 5 km: 1 lap
- 10 km: 2 laps
The course is a counter-clockwise loop that starts and finishes at the Soccer Clubhouse on Laurier Blvd and follows Laurier Blvd, Millwood Ave, Magedoma Blvd (Memorial Centre loop), Millwood Ave, east on Parkedale Ave, north on California Ave, then back to Laurier Blvd.
Entry fees are listed in Canadian dollars: 5K $30, 10K $35, with a $5 discount available for club members. Registration is open and the regular registration deadline is October 29, 2026 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. Payment is accepted online; a small processing fee applies.
All ages are welcome. There will be no Kids 1K this year while organizers trial dual-race logistics with the volunteer crew. Medals will be awarded to top finishers in categories that are to be determined. Costumes are encouraged and special prizes will be given for standout costumes; outfits should not restrict vision or create tripping hazards.
