River Run - Prescott
River Run takes place on May 16, 2026 and is organized by the South Grenville Chamber of Commerce. The event has been rebranded from its former name, Fort Town Night Run.
The run is presented in collaboration with the Town of Prescott, Prescott Pop-Ups and Fort Wellington, coinciding with the seasonal opening of Prescott Pop-Ups and Fort Wellington. Event features include a shotgun start, live music by Cajón and the Hallow Bodies, and pizza and beverage options by the water.
Proposed routes:
- 1 KM: Scenic route via Sandra S Lawn Harbor and the amphitheater.
- 5 KM: Sandra S Lawn Harbor, Kellys Beach and Highway 2 to August Dive Park.
- 10 KM: Follow the 5K route, continue along Highway 2 to the Battle of the Windmill site.
- 15 KM: 10K plus an additional 5K lap before finishing at Prescott Pop-Ups.
The courses run along waterfront areas and through town sections. The finish is located at Prescott Pop-Ups. The event description notes that routes pass through three townships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
