North Conway Half Marathon & 5K
The event is a village road race hosted by the White Mountain Milers with start and finish at Schouler Park in North Conway. It includes two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
The field is limited to a maximum of 650 participants. Registration is not yet open. Race amenities include a performance race shirt with male and female sizing, a custom finisher's medal, unlimited free race photos, and live race-day results available online and by text or email if those options are provided.
The course for the half marathon is described as New England flat and follows roads and a bike lane north and south of Schouler Park, passing views of the Saco River, Cathedral Ledge, Mount Washington and local farms. Dogs and baby strollers are not allowed on the course. The half marathon has a cutoff time of 3 hours 15 minutes.
Awards are given in multiple categories for both distances, including top overall men and women, age-group podiums, local resident awards, and special category awards such as first responders and other community categories. New Hampshire state championship placings apply to New Hampshire residents in specified divisions.
Net proceeds benefit the Gretchen B. Hatch Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports college-bound students from the Mount Washington Valley. Bib pickup is offered on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and on race day at the North Conway Community Center, with an athlete village at Schouler Park.
