The White Mountain Milers present the 39th North Conway Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk on September 20, 2026, with start and finish at Schouler Park in North Conway Village. The event offers two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
The half marathon follows a certified out-and-back route along White Mountain Highway, River Road and scenic West Side Road, turning near Passaconaway Road and returning to Schouler Park. The course is described as fast and flat, with views of the Saco River, Cathedral Ledge, Mount Washington and local valley farms. Dogs and baby strollers are not allowed. The half marathon has a cutoff time of 3 hours 15 minutes (15 minute mile pace). Maximum field size is 600 participants.
Included amenities and services on race day include a performance race shirt, a custom finisher medal, unlimited free race photos and live online results; Gatorade is the exclusive sports beverage on course. Awards are given for top overall finishers and age groups in both distances, plus local-resident and several special-category awards. Net proceeds benefit the Gretchen B. Hatch Memorial Scholarship Fund for Mount Washington Valley students. Bib pickup is handled at the North Conway Community Center.
