39th North Conway Half Marathon & 5K
The North Conway Half Marathon & 5K is an annual running event held in North Conway, New Hampshire. The event features two distinct distances for participants:
- Half Marathon (approx. 21.1 km)
- 5K Run/Walk
The course starts and finishes at Schouler Park in the center of North Conway Village. The route is described as fast and flat, traversing scenic areas such as West Side Road and River Road. Runners pass landmarks including the Saco River, Cathedral Ledge, and views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. The half marathon course follows a "back course" format with a turnaround point near Passaconaway Road.
Participants can expect several amenities, including performance race shirts in both male and female sizes and custom finisher medals. Professional photography is provided throughout the event with unlimited free race photos available. The maximum capacity for the event is limited to 600 participants. A time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes is in place for the half marathon, which equates to a pace of 15 minutes per mile.
For safety and course regulations, please note that no dogs or baby strollers are permitted on the course. Net proceeds from the event benefit the Gretchen B.
