Bristol Brabazon Half Marathon and 10k Run
The Bristol Brabazon Half Marathon and 10k Run takes place in North Bristol, starting and finishing in the vicinity of Scott Park in Patchway. This event serves as a pilot run for a growing race series that will eventually move to the new Brabazon Complex and Arena in future years. The course is designed to be flat and fast, utilizing local roads and pavements.
The event features two primary race distances:
- Half Marathon: An approximately 21.1 km course that follows a flat route on road and pavement surfaces.
- 10 km: A single lap course that follows the same flat route as the longer distance.
Participants for both distances receive a bespoke Brabazon finisher medal and a personalized bib featuring chip timing. Support facilities provided on the course include aid stations located at the 5 km, 11 km, and 16 km marks. Toilets are available at the start and finish area, as well as at the 11 km point for those competing in the half marathon.
The event infrastructure includes a bag drop facility located at the finish zone. At the finish area, participants can find refreshments and music.
