North Bend Old Settlers 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place Saturday, June 27, 2026 in North Bend, NE at the North Bend City Pool. Distances offered include:

Registration fees and T-shirt policy are stated for each distance. For the 5K: $20.00 Early Registration includes a T-shirt through 6/20 at 11:59 PM US/Central; $25.00 Late Registration does not include a T-shirt from 6/20 at 11:59 PM US/Central through 6/25 at 11:59 PM US/Central. For the 1 Mile: $15.00 Early Registration includes a T-shirt through 6/20 at 11:59 PM US/Central; $20.00 Late Registration does not include a T-shirt from 6/20 at 11:59 PM US/Central through 6/25 at 11:59 PM US/Central.
Packet pick-up is at the Pavilion in the Park with early pickup on Friday, June 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and race day pickup from 6:45 to 7:45 am.
The course starts and finishes at the North Bend City Pool and follows a flat, fast out and back route through the streets of North Bend and the outer east edge of town.
Awards for the 5K include trophies to the top three male and female finishers in these age divisions: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. BROOKS shoes are awarded to the overall male and female winners, donated by Running Company in Lincoln. There is a $25 cash award for new men's and women's 5K course records; current records listed are Women 20:13.8 2019 and Men 16:30.7 2019. The 1 Mile awards are medals to the top two male and female finishers in age divisions 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
