North Bend Old Settlers 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place in North Bend, Nebraska at 1211 Locust Street on June 27, 2026. It offers two course options that both start and finish at the North Bend City Pool. The 5K uses a flat out-and-back route through the streets of North Bend and along the outer east edge of town. The 1 Mile is a separate run/walk distance.

Packet pickup is available early on Friday, June 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and on race day from 6:45 to 7:45 am; all pickups are at the Pavilion in the Park. Registration is available in advance, and registrants who register by June 20 receive a T-shirt. Fee tiers are shown for different registration periods.
Awards for the 5K include trophies to the top three male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Brooks shoes are awarded to the overall male and female 5K winners. A $25 cash prize is offered for new men’s and women’s 5K course records; existing records from 2019 are listed. The 1 Mile awards give medals to the top two male and female finishers in standard age divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
