North Bend Old Settlers 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place Saturday, June 27, 2026 in North Bend, Nebraska at the North Bend City Pool. Two distances are offered:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Registration fees and T shirt inclusion vary by distance and registration period. For the 5K, early registration is $20 and includes a T shirt through June 20; late registration is $25 and does not include a T shirt through June 25. For the 1 mile, early registration is $15 and includes a T shirt through June 20; late registration is $20 and does not include a T shirt through June 25.
Packet pickup is available Friday, June 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and on race day from 6:45 to 7:45 am at the Pavilion in the Park. The course starts and finishes at the North Bend City Pool and is described as a flat out and back route through the streets of North Bend and the outer east edge of town.
Awards for the 5K include trophies for the top three in male and female age divisions from 14 and under through 70 and over. Brooks shoes are awarded to the overall male and female winners. A $25 cash bonus is offered for new men's and women's 5K course records, with current records listed from 2019. The 1 mile awards medals to the top two in each age division from 10 and under through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
