Event overview
The Norris Ultra Dam Hard Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Norris Dam State Park in Norris (Andersonville), TN 37705. The event offers two race distances:
- 25k
- 50k
Registration fees listed for this edition are $45 for the 25k and $65 for the 50k. A Knoxville Track Club (KTC) member discount is accepted. Prices increase after July 6, 2026. Limited-edition series T-shirts are issued at one per runner per season, and a deluxe finisher's medal is presented to finishers of either distance.
Course, logistics and rules
Both distances run on single-track trails and jeep roads across Norris Dam State Park and the Norris Municipal Watershed. The 25k is one loop; the 50k is two loops. Multiple aid stations will be located on roadside access points. Time limits are 4:40 for the 25k and 9 hours for the 50k; 50k runners must reach the halfway point and depart that aid station within four hours to continue. Optional live GPS tracking is available through the Webscorer app, sending location updates roughly every five minutes.
Race rules and safety: no headsets, earphones, bicycles, strollers, roller blades or pets on course. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter adult races. An 18:00/mile minimum pace will be enforced and a sweeper will operate on course. Volunteerism is part of the series award and Grand Prix qualification requirements.
