Norman Cole Penistone 10K
The Norman Cole Penistone 10K takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 in Penistone, South Yorkshire. The event is organised by Penistone Footpath Runners & AC and is staged from Penistone Church Football Club, with the race headquarters at the same venue.
The road race covers a single lap of 10 km. The course begins with a short loop through a residential estate, then follows quiet back roads toward the Pennine foothills. The profile is undulating and includes a steep downhill descent that brings runners onto the Trans Pennine Trail for the final two and a half kilometres on a flat, fast surface back to the football club. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Entry is limited to 308 places. Standard fees are listed as £16 for affiliated runners and £18 for unaffiliated runners; if the event has not sold out, on the day entries are available for an additional £2. The race operates under licence number 30785.
