The run course is a 5K loop with mostly farm-road type trails and generally runnable terrain. There is minimal overlap with the mountain bike course, but runners should be aware of bike traffic at some intersections. The bike course is a 5 mile loop with downhill single-track sections; listed climb is 658 ft, max elevation 1,495 ft, descent -641 ft.
Registration, awards and rules
Entry fees are tiered by date. Example adult fees listed include early, mid, and race-day prices for each event (for example, the 10K runs show $40 early through April 30, $45 May 1-31, $50 June 1–race day). The event policy states there are no refunds and no transfers of registration or bibs. All participants aged 21 and over receive one free ticket for a Norbrook Farm Brewery hand-crafted beer. Finishers receive a specially designed finisher medal and awards are given to the top three in each event.
