Annual 5K Walk/Run
The Nor-Cal Breast Cancer Connection presents the 7th Annual 5K Walk/Run on October 3, 2026 at Turtle Bay Exploration Park Arboretum. The event is organized to support breast cancer awareness and to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Detection Fund.
Proceeds from the event go toward expansion of the Breast Cancer Detection Fund. These funds help provide breast cancer detection screening and other diagnostic services for people who do not have adequate insurance coverage.
Registration categories and fees are listed: Adults $25, Youth (18 and under) $15, and Kids 5 and under are free. Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the event at a location to be determined, with packets also available at the event. Merch will be available for early purchase. Same-day race registration is offered.
The event program includes a raffle drawing and an award ceremony that recognizes first place by age groups and overall male and female winners. Presenting sponsors named for the event include Win-River Resort & Casino and Redding Rancheria. Sponsorship levels with defined benefits are available at multiple price points, and the sponsorship deadline is August 22, 2026; the title sponsor deadline is July 1, 2026.
