The event is a road race day in Redding, California held at Lake Redding Park, 2225 Benton Dr. Courses run along the Sacramento River Trail and cross two pedestrian bridges, the Diestelhorst Bridge and the Stress Ribbon Bridge.

The 10 Mile is part of the USATF Pacific Association Road Grand Prix. A prize purse of $2,900 is available for Pacific Association members in the 10 Mile. A separate course record prize pool of $2,500 is available for the 10 Mile with allocations that include $1,000 for each open gender record and $250 for each masters (40+) gender record.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Fleet Feet Redding, 1376 Hilltop Dr. Race day registration opens at Lake Redding Park.
