Event overview
The Noonday Shanty 5K/10K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event uses paved sections of the Noonday Creek Trail and nearby roadway. Two USA Track & Field certified courses are offered, and the event is an official Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Team registration is available. A race shirt is included with most entries and medals are awarded to top runners in race brackets.

Virtual options allow participants to run offsite; virtual entries include a shirt but are not eligible for awards. A ghost runner category provides a shirt without race participation and is not eligible for awards. Wheelchair push-assist divisions are available for both 5K and 10K.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Big Peach Running, 1625 Ridenour Boulevard, Kennesaw, GA. The start and finish area is located on the back side of the Town Center at Cobb mall near Belk and the Varsity. Free parking is available at Town Center at Cobb Mall, 400 Ernest Barrett Parkway.
