Noonday Shanty 5K/10K : March 28, 2026
The Noonday Shanty 5K/10K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event uses paved courses on Noonday Creek Trail and adjacent roadway and includes two USA Track & Field certified race lengths. Proceeds support greenspace and trail projects in Town Center. The event is a Peachtree Road Race official qualifying event. Runners, walkers, and families are invited; walkers are advised to register for the 5K distance. T-shirts are included with registration and medals are awarded to top finishers in race brackets.

Additional options: virtual 5K and 10K entries (not eligible for awards, shirt available at packet pick-up), ghost runner entries (not eligible for awards, shirt available at packet pick-up), and wheelchair push-assist subcategories for both 5K and 10K.
Team registration: the person who creates a team registers first; all team members must run the same distance, so separate teams are needed for 5K and 10K.
Early packet pick-up: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 3:30 PM–7:00 PM at Big Peach Running, 1625 Ridenour Boulevard, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Parking: Town Center at Cobb Mall, 400 Ernest Barrett Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30144; the start/finish area is on the back side of the mall near Belk and the Varsity.
