Event overview
The Nomad Left Behind event is the 4th annual local run and family day, held on May 2, 2026 in Mountain Top, PA. The event features a 5K run/walk, a 1 mile fun run/walk, and a Kids' Fun Zone for children 10 years and under. Registration opens February 2, 2026. T-shirts are not guaranteed for same-day registrants.

Course and location
All races start and finish at the St. Jude School parking lot, 420 S Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, PA 18707. The 5K route turns left onto Church Road for 1.5 miles before returning to the school. The 1 mile route turns left onto Church Road for 0.5 mile before returning to the school.
Registration and on-site services
Pre-registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $25 for the 1 mile, and $20 for the Kids' Fun Zone. Same-day registration will be higher; t-shirts will not be available for same-day registrants. The Kids Fun Fest will take place in the playground area and includes a blow-up obstacle course, face painting, foam machines, and other activities. Organizers request advance registration for the Kids Fun Fest to ensure adequate volunteer support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
