The 50 mile race is a point-to-point course starting in Bellvue and finishing at Island Grove in Greeley. The 50 mile relay is organized into 12 legs, each about 3 to 7 miles, and teams consist of two to four runners. The 100 mile option combines 50 miles run on race day and 50 miles completed on the participant's own between April 4 and April 18; teams for the 100 mile relay may include two to eight runners.
Course support includes aid stations, exchange zones at trailheads accessible by car, downloadable GPS maps, and leg details with elevation and Strava segments. Relay teams commonly use a single vehicle to move between exchanges and provide crew support from the vehicle. Post-race provisions include food, finisher medals for participants, athlete shirts, and belt buckles for solo 50 and 100 mile finishers. Registration after March 1, 2026 does not guarantee a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
