Course Details

The 50 mile race is a point-to-point run. It starts in Bellvue at Watson Lake and finishes in Greeley, traveling through Fort Collins, Timnath, and Windsor along the way.

The 100 mile race is a unique format that blends an in-person and a virtual event. Participants run 50 miles on the official race day with the 50-mile event. They then complete the other 50 miles on their own within a specified period, submitting their results online. These additional miles can be run on the Poudre Trail or any other location.

Relay teams for the 50-mile event have 12 legs ranging from 3 to 7 miles. The 100-mile relay has 24 legs of similar distance.

Event Features

The course is described as fully supported with aid stations and abundant exchange zones. Solo 50-mile and 100-mile runners receive belt buckles. All participants receive a finisher medal, an athlete shirt, a custom race bib, and access to free race photos. A post-race party with food is held for finishers at Island Grove in Greeley.
