NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay - April 11, 2027
The NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay is a set of long-distance running events held along the Poudre River Trail in Northern Colorado. The course passes through Bellvue, Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and finishes in Greeley at Island Grove. Distances and formats include:
- 50 Mile Individual
- 50 Mile Relay (teams of 2 to 4)
- 100 Mile Individual (hybrid format)
- 100 Mile Relay (teams of 2 to 8)
The 50 mile race is a point-to-point route that starts in Bellvue at Watson Lake and proceeds along the Poudre River Trail to Greeley. The 50 mile relay is divided into 12 legs, with individual legs ranging from about 3 to 7 miles. Relay exchanges are located at trailheads and are accessible by car; teams typically use a single vehicle to move between exchange points and may divide legs as they prefer.
The 100 mile individual event combines an in-person 50 mile segment on race day with 50 additional miles to be completed independently between April 4 and April 18. Those virtual miles may be completed on the Poudre Trail or elsewhere and results are submitted through the race website.
The event offers a supported course with aid stations and exchange zones, crew access at exchanges, post-race food and snacks, finisher medals for all participants, belt buckles for solo 50 and 100 mile finishers, athlete shirts, custom bibs and free race photos. The race benefits the Poudre Trail Authority and several local nonprofit organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
