NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay - event overview
The NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay is a long-distance running event on April 11, 2027, that follows the Poudre River Trail through Northern Colorado. The route and event footprint include Bellvue, Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Greeley. The 50 mile race is point-to-point and finishes at Island Grove in Greeley.
Distances and formats:
- 50 Mile individual solo race, point-to-point from Bellvue to Island Grove in Greeley.
- 50 Mile relay for teams of two to four, twelve legs of 3 to 7 miles.
- 100 Mile individual combining 50 miles in person and 50 miles on your own.
- 100 Mile relay for teams of two to eight runners.
The event uses a supported course with aid stations and multiple exchange zones. Relay exchanges are located at trailheads and are accessible by car; teams travel together in a single vehicle to reach each exchange. Relay teams may divide legs flexibly and may run single or multiple consecutive legs.
The 100 mile individual format requires completion of the second 50 mile portion on or between April 4 and April 18 with results submitted to the race. All participants receive finisher medals; solo 50 mile and solo 100 mile finishers receive belt buckles. Course guides include leg distances, elevation details and links to Strava segments.
