Event overview
The NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay takes place April 11-12, 2026 along the Poudre River Trail in Northern Colorado. The trail route passes through Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Greeley, with event staging around Bellvue and Greeley.

Race format and course
The 50 mile event is a point-to-point course from Bellvue to Greeley. The 50 mile relay is divided into 12 legs, each about 3 to 7 miles. The 100 mile event is an out-and-back staged over two days, running from Greeley to Bellvue and back, with an organized overnight rest camp at Vern's race campsite. The 100 mile relay is split into 24 legs of roughly 3 to 7 miles. No running is allowed on the trail between 10 pm and 5 am. Runners may receive crew support at exchange points, and solo ultra runners can pick up a pacer at the halfway point before starting day two.
Services, awards and beneficiaries
The event provides stocked aid stations, multiple exchange zones, GPS and downloadable course maps, and race photos. Every athlete receives a shirt, custom bib and a finisher medal for ultra and relay finishers. Solo 50 and 100 mile finishers receive belt buckles. A post-race party is held at Island Grove in Greeley. The event benefits the Poudre Trail Authority and several local nonprofit organizations.
