Following the conclusion of the physical events, the venue hosts a post-race gathering on the Maddox Foundation lawn featuring food and games.
Virtual Participation and Awards
Virtual participants can track their progress using the RaceJoy App, which allows for automatic result uploads, or they may post their times manually. Those participating virtually are also eligible to receive an event shirt.
Awards are presented for various achievements, including first-place overall male and female runners and age-group brackets ranging from 12 and under to 70 and over. Skaters compete for the Winged Wheels Award for the overall fastest time, with additional age-group categories. Other recognition is given to the youngest and oldest participants, the largest team, the most funds raised, and the individual who traveled the farthest to attend.
