No Greater Honor 5K
This event is presented by Honor Flight Kentucky to honor veterans and support the organization's work. It takes place at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky, and features a scenic 5K route on paved surfaces with commemorative race shirts and free race photos. Overall and age group awards are presented for the timed 5K event.
Distances and race options:
- 5K Run/Walk on paved road surfaces; walkers strollers and dogs allowed
- 1 Mile Fun Walk untimed no awards
- Kids 1/4 Mile Honor Dash untimed for ages 9 and under participation medal
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk option commemorative shirt and bib mailed
Registration opens 1 January 2026. In-person race divisions generally close registration 31 January 2026; the kids dash registration closes 31 March 2026; the virtual option remains open until 5 June 2026. Published registration fees are $20 for the 5K, $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Walk, $15 for the Kids Honor Dash, and $30 for the virtual entry, which includes mailing of a shirt and bib.
Additional event details include packet pickup at J&H Running Company the day before the event and race morning packet pickup, social team options with a prize for the largest team and a saving of $3 per team member for teams of five or more, and a $5 discount available for veterans and active duty military using the SERVICE coupon code.
