NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run
The fifth annual NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run is hosted by New Mexico State University’s Marketing and Communications department on the Las Cruces campus along College Drive between Skeen Hall and Gerald Thomas Hall. The event features a newly designed route and two distances:
- 5K
- 1-mile fun run
Registration fees are listed per event: the 5K is $25 and the 1-mile fun run is $15; children ages 0–12 may register for free. Each registered participant receives an official race bib and a race medal. A day-of registration surcharge applies, and several $5-off promotional windows are offered during the registration period.
Race bib pickup is available before race day at the Corbett Center Student Union and on race day at a pre-registered/check-in table under a large tent; the first 200 participants who pick up early on the designated day receive a complimentary T-shirt while supplies last. Bibs must be worn on the front of the garment and remain visible at the finish line for accurate timing.
The event is nonrefundable. Transfers between participants or between distances are permitted within the same calendar year for a $5 transaction fee and must be completed before the day of the event. Participants will be disqualified for failing to follow race instructions or for using a bib not registered to them; bib misuse may result in bans from future NMSU race events.
The event supports community giving through the Aggie Cupboard, which accepts non-perishable food, toiletries, and monetary donations. Alma's Kitchen is the featured food vendor on site and will offer samples at a water station while supplies last. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
