NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run, 2026
The fourth annual Gratitude Walk/Run is hosted by New Mexico State University Marketing and Communications on the Horseshoe at NMSU’s Las Cruces campus. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Horseshoe area on campus and features a newly designed route for both race options. It is presented as an occasion to show gratitude for the university, the local community, and other participants.

- 1‑Mile fun run
Registration details state that online registration is available and that processing fees are applied by the event platform; taxes are added at checkout. Posted fees list the 5K at $25 per person and the 1 Mile at $15 per person, with children ages 0 through 12 listed as free. A day of event registration carries a $5 fee increase. Race logistics note advance race bib pickup at the Corbett Center Student Union and additional pickup at the event check‑in tent; a limited number of free T shirts are reserved for early bib pickup on an announced day while supplies last. The event collects donations for the Aggie Cupboard, including nonperishable food, toiletries, and monetary gifts.
The event is nonrefundable. Transfers within the same calendar year are permitted for a $5 transaction fee and must be completed by the day before the event. Participants may be disqualified for failure to follow race instructions or for wearing a bib not registered to them; bib misuse can result in bans from future NMSU race events for a minimum of two years.
