NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run : 2026
The fifth annual NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run is hosted by New Mexico State University Marketing and Communications on College Drive, between Skeen Hall and Gerald Thomas Hall on the NMSU Las Cruces campus. The event includes a newly designed route for both the 5K and the 1 mile fun run.

Registration details note that online registration is encouraged and that cash and check payments will not be accepted. Listed registration fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile fun run; children ages 0–12 are free. A day of event registration carries a $5 fee increase. Discounted $5 promotions are scheduled for several promotional periods. Processing fees and applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Each runner receives an official race bib and a race medal. Race bib pickup is available the day before at the Aggie Lounge in the Corbett Center Student Union and on event day at the pre-registered check-in table under the large tent; free T shirts are provided to the first 200 participants who pick up bibs on the earlier pickup day while supplies last. Bibs must be worn on the front and visible for finish line timing; runners may keep their bib after the event.
The event is nonrefundable. Registrations may be transferred within the same calendar year for a $5 transaction fee if completed before the day of the event. Using another participant’s bib will result in disqualification and a ban from NMSU race events for a minimum of two years.
The event collects donations for the Aggie Cupboard, accepting nonperishable food, toiletries, and monetary donations. Volunteers from MarComm and student groups can register for roles and access volunteer guides and maps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
