NM Chips and Salsa Half Marathon
The NM Chips and Salsa event on Sunday, September 13, 2026, offers multiple race options and takes place at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The course is described as a new, fast, flat loop that runs through the North Valley and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

- Virtual Half Marathon and Virtual 10K, 5K or Kids K
Event services and rules are stated in the participant information. The half marathon awards include overall and age group prizes and a custom finisher medal for all half marathon finishers. Awards for 10K and 5K are also determined by gun time and are available for overall and age group categories; unclaimed awards will not be mailed. Timing is electronic and participants seeking awards must wear an assigned timing device. Fuel and replacement fluid stations are provided approximately every two miles on the half marathon course, with restroom facilities near the start and finish and near mile 6. Medical personnel and first aid will be stationed at the finish and along the course.
