NIRCA Cross Country Open 6K
The NIRCA Cross Country Open 6K is an annual community race on November 7, 2026, held at Blue River Cross Country Course, 725 Lee Rd, Shelbyville, IN. The event takes place as a preliminary race to the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association National Championships at the same venue.
The event features a 6K community race that is open to the public. Eligible participants noted by the organizer include local community members, middle- and high-school runners in postseason competition, fans of collegiate club running, NIRCA alumni or otherwise ineligible athletes, parents and other spectators. Spikes may be worn at the runner's discretion. The race will take place in rain or shine.
