NIRCA Cross Country Open 6K

The NIRCA Cross Country Open 6K is an annual running event held at the Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville, Indiana. This race is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event serves as a precursor to the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) National Championships, which are held later the same day.

For registered NIRCA athletes, a special 12k/14k challenge is available. This involves competing in the Open 6 km race in addition to their designated collegiate championship race.
