Event overview
The New Year 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on January 3, 2026, at Miccosukee Greenway in Tallahassee, Florida (5600 Miccosukee Rd, 32308). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1M (Half Marathon)
Registration must be completed on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, event shirts and gear, awards, series points, and a best costume category are part of the event offerings.
Course and logistics
The courses run on a trail surface, not a hard surface. Parking is at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway. The 5K and 10K share a short loop described as 0.78 miles; the out-and-back version is 1.56 miles. The 5K consists of two repeats of that course and the 10K consists of four repeats. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile loop with a 2.18 mile out-and-back version and is run six times for the full distance.
