Nike After Dark Tour : Los Angeles
The event is a 13.1 mile night half marathon that starts and finishes at Redondo Beach King Harbor. The coastal course runs through Torrance and into Hermosa Beach, passing iconic South Bay cities and offering ocean and sunset views. The surface is mainly road, with a maximum elevation of 241 feet and a total elevation gain of 460 feet.
Participants must be 14 years or older and able to complete the full 13.1 miles within a four hour course limit. Adaptive athletes and runners with disabilities are welcome; support requirements can be indicated during registration. Animals are not permitted on course. Headphones are allowed, though noise cancelling models are not recommended.
Race operations include organized start corrals (A to F), bag check, toilets, and multiple medical resources on course, including five medical stations, roving medical carts, and ambulances. There are two on-course redirection points at Palos Verdes Blvd and Herondo St for runners behind course cutoffs. The event is rain or shine.
Registration is limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis; entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. The entry fee covers a race bib, a participant T-shirt, a finisher medal with Los Angeles-specific customization, and access to the post-race celebration at Redondo Beach King Harbor.
