About the race
Night of the PBs at Hensley Athletics Track in Eastgardens NSW is a flat and fast track event built around a 5 km distance run as 12.5 laps. The event is scheduled for Friday 11 September and includes multiple paced heats so runners can select a pace range when booking to aim for a personal best. A waitlist is used to fill spots if desired heats sell out.
The program includes a relay race alongside individual heats, a recovery zone for post‑run rehydration and fueling, and prize presentations. Pacers are provided to support runners chasing target times. Spectators and fan clubs are welcome to attend and provide support from the trackside.
Booking is organised by heat based on pace ranges; runners who enter a slower heat may remain in that heat even if faster heats later have openings. The event layout and services are focused on a track format with lap counting and paced groups, and a presentation segment concludes the evening.
