The course features approximately 1,500 luminaries and a 300-foot illuminated archway. The start of the race is marked by a fireworks display. Participants are provided with glow necklaces, and the route through local neighborhood streets is lined with spectators. Following the event, snacks and beverages are served near the finish line.
