About the race
The Fifth Annual NICHOLAS AIR 5K is a community run and virtual event held in Oxford, Mississippi at the NICHOLAS AIR Headquarters (300 S Lamar Ct, Oxford, MS 38655). The event offers an on-site and a virtual option, each covering 3.1 Miles.
Registration opens August 1, 2026. For the main and virtual events registration closes August 22, 2026; First Responders have a separate registration window that closes October 3, 2026. Early registration is listed at $35 and day-of registration at $50. First Responders are invited to participate without charge. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and medal.
The in-person route starts and finishes at the NICHOLAS AIR office and follows local streets including Belk Blvd, Frontage Road, Access Rd, S 18th St, and Elliott Dr before returning to the office parking lot. Parking is available at the lot across the street from the headquarters.
After the event, refreshments including cold beer and light food are available at a cool-down area in the NICHOLAS AIR parking lot.
