Double Decker Spring Run
The Double Decker Spring Run takes place on April 25, 2026 in Oxford, Mississippi. The event address is 703 North Lamar Boulevard.
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids Run
The event is part of the annual Double Decker festival, which features a day of arts, crafts, and music after the races.
The races are chip-timed. The first 3000 finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards include a $200 cash prize for the overall male and female winners in the 10K and 5K races. Overall, Master, and Grand Master winners receive handmade pottery. Age group winners receive a print of the commissioned event art.
A pre-race warmup is offered. After the race, there is a food buffet for runners, on-site stretching, injury screenings, and other vendor booths.
$1.00 from every registration goes to the YMCA of Oxford. The event has a sponsoring organization, the Oxford Lafayette Chamber, and a presenting sponsor, Mississippi Sports Medicine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
