Event Overview
The CASA Superhero Run is a fundraising event organized by CASA of North Mississippi. The organization advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children through trained, court-appointed volunteers.
Event Activities
The event features two main activities:
- A 5K race.
- A Kids Fun Run.
A "Spirit Runner" registration option is available for those who wish to receive the event shirt without participating in a run.
Schedule and Logistics
The event takes place at Avent Park in Oxford, Mississippi. A parking shuttle bus service is provided from the Oxford Conference Center, beginning at 7:00 am and ending at 11:00 am. Registration and shirt pickup open at 7:00 am. A race warmup is scheduled for 7:15 am. The 5K race starts at 8:00 am, followed by post-race activities and awards pick-up beginning at 8:30 am. The Kids Fun Run starts at 9:00 am.
Registration Information
Pre-registered participants signed up at least one week in advance are guaranteed their requested shirt size. Late registrants are not guaranteed their shirt size choice; shirts are given on a first-come, first-served basis. According to the stated policies, there are no refunds, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
