Newton Road Races

Newton Road Races 10k & 3k in Cambuslang, held on 8 November 2025, start at Westburn Hall. The course runs along the Clyde path as an out-and-back on a well-maintained tarmac surface—mostly flat with a couple of small hills and no roads to cross—for both the 10k and 3k. The event is held in memory of Cat Gaskell and organized by Newton Road Runners, with collaboration from Stomp Socks for extra prizes.

It is officially measured, licensed by Scottish Athletics, and chip-timed. The 10k is for ages 15+, while the 3k is for those 15 and under (under-11 must be accompanied).
